Darcy gets a winch fitted for breakdowns and recovery - ETS Motorbike Transport
Over the Christmas and New Year break, we've been busy getting 'Darcy' our Mercedes Sprinter Van kitted out for breakdowns and recovery ready for the new season to start in spring. Darcy is now fitted with an electric winch which can be remotely operated by Eric so he can sit on the bike and guide it up the full width 3 metre long ramp.
Eric is a bit of a techo geek and loves gadgets so he's been very excited to get this fitted and operational. We've also been busy getting the floor finished which includes cubby holes to keep all his microfibre cloths close to hand to ensure nothing touches or rubs on the motorbikes' paintwork and he's installed new spotlights which covers the full width ramp so when it's deployed, they light it up to ensure it's safely visible to others, oh and we've got cameras installed in the back now so Eric can see the bikes once they are loaded up and he's on the move.
It's been a busy time and we are looking forward to 2025 and moving even more motorbikes.
