Confirmation of Bookings:
Once payment has been received by ETS Motorbike Transport along with an agreed date of collection and delivery and a booking confirmation has been sent to the customer, that date is now booked out of the ETS Motorbike Transport calendar and will not be given to anyone else.
You will be asked about potential access issues when collecting or delivering your motorcycle, if any issues are not disclosed and access is limited or has not been taken into consideration when quoting for the transportation of your motorcycle, there may be an additional charge.
Cancellations and Moving a Collection/Delivery Date:
Any cancellations or postponements with less than 72 hours before the agreed collection date will result in a fee of 30% of the agreed quote. ETS Motorbike Transport will do our best to ensure if date needs to be moved that we do so with no additional fees, however that remains at our discretion.
Collection and Delivery Delays:
We will contact the seller/business the day before collection is due to take place with an estimated time of collection however we cannot be held responsible or traffic delays on route. We do our best to adhere to the agreed times, however, we will ensure that the seller/buyer or business is kept up to date should there be a delay.
Should there be no one in at the delivery address as previously arranged, the buyer should provide an alternative address (within 10 miles) so the motorbike can be delivered and kept safe and secure. This should be provided in writing from the mobile phone or e-mail address supplied when making the booking.
Motorbike Paperwork and Keys:
We will collect any paperwork and ensure we have the key/s for the motorbike which is detailed on the initial booking form. The buyer is responsible for ensuring they have discussed and arranged with the seller which paperwork and the number of keys should be sent with the bike that it belongs to. Again, a photo of the paperwork folder and keys will be taken. ETS Motorbike Transport will not accept responsibility for paperwork/keys which are not for that motorbike. The agreement on what is to be provided with the motorbike takes place between the buyer and the seller.
Additional Items such as Spare Parts, Panniers etc:
Any additional items should have been included on the initial booking form and therefore included in the quote. Any additional items which have not been included on the form may not be taken if there is not room on the van or it has not been agreed in advance. Any additional items should be packaged securely. We will not accept claims for damage to panniers or spare parts which are not securely boxed. On occasion there may a need to remove certain items from a Motorcycle to ensure the safe loading and unloading of your bike.
ETS Motorbike Transport will not accept responsibility for delivering any parts which have not been quoted for on the initial booking form and it may fall to the buyer to arrange for them to be delivered at a different time at their own cost.
Making A Claim For Damages:
If the customer believes that damage to their delivered motorbike has been done in transit, they should make ETS Motorbike Transport aware of this before the driver leaves the delivery address. Absolutely no claims for damages will be accepted after we have left the delivery address specified on the initial booking form or the documented change of delivery address within a 10 mile radius.
We are fully insured to transport your motorbike and its journey to you will be documented when collected, loaded and delivered to you.
Card Payments:
Card payments will attract a £5 charge (up to £295) on top of the quotation due to fees associated with the processing of card payments. £300 and over will be £1 charged for each £50 over £300 - eg £500 delivery charge paid via card machine would be £9.00 added to the £500.
