From Green Lanes to the Race Track: Eric’s Journey into Enduro
Before ETS Motorbike Transport was on the road, Eric’s story started where many great riding journeys do, out on the trails.
Greenlaning with his old boss, Tony was more than just a weekend hobby. It was where the passion for off-road riding really took hold. Exploring the countryside, tackling unpredictable terrain and enjoying the freedom that comes with it, those early days enjoying time out with friends built the foundation for everything that followed.
It wasn’t long before that passion turned into something more competitive.
Eric stepped into the world of enduro racing, taking on the challenge of the TBEC Enduro scene. For several years, he practiced and competed in demanding events that tested both rider and machine to their limits. Enduro racing isn’t just about speed, it’s about endurance, skill, and determination. Mud, hills, technical sections and long days in the saddle all come as part of the package.
Those years racing were full of hard work, commitment, and a real love for the sport. It’s not an easy discipline and anyone who’s taken part in TBEC Enduro knows just how tough it can be.
In 2008, Eric decided to step away from racing, closing that chapter of his life. But while the racing days came to an end, the passion for motorcycles never did.
Today, that same dedication carries through into ETS Motorbike Transport. The understanding of bikes, the respect for every machine and the attention to detail all come from years spent riding, racing and living the lifestyle.
From green lanes to race tracks, and now transporting bikes across the country, it’s all part of the same journey.
And at the heart of it all....... a genuine love for motorcycles.
